Our story

Decades of experience, no agency overhead.

Al and Tina Magonagle met as classmates at Hussian College. Today they run Apt Creative Group together, Al leading design and development, Tina leading operations.

Being hands-on and independent is a deliberate choice. You work directly with the people doing the work, not a rotating account team, and every project gets the same level of attention we would want for our own.

Two people, complementary skills.

Al Magonagle

Design & Development

Al leads design and development at Apt Creative Group. He trained in illustration at Hussian College, then spent decades working across graphic design, creative direction, and web development, including seven years running his own design and marketing firm.

That range shows up in how he works today, equally comfortable sketching a logo concept, building out a brand system, or writing the code that brings a website to life. Recent work includes the brand identity and Shopify site for Fable Cosmetics.

Tina Magonagle

Operations

Tina handles operations at Apt Creative Group. Her background spans executive support and operations across corporate and nonprofit environments, and that experience shows in how she keeps projects organized and moving.

She is also the founder of Fable Cosmetics, a clean beauty brand Apt built the site and brand identity for, so she has seen the studio's work from the client's side of the table too.
